Kadence vs Classic Editor Differences?

Estimated reading: 1 minute 76 views

You can use the Classic Editor plugin with the Kadence, but why would you want to use it when Kadence offers so much more? The Kadence Blocks plugin is designed explicitly for Gutenberg, so it will not be functional in the Classic Editor, and you will lose all of those beautiful layouts.

The Kadence Blocks plugin is specifically designed for Gutenberg, so it will not be functional in the Classic Editor. However, the Classic Editor can be integrated into Kadence, but it’s impractical because Kadence offers you everything you need.

We think it’s better to take advantage of Kadence’s more modern features (like its block-based layout system, advanced design options, and flexibility in content layout); using the Gutenberg editor with Kadence Blocks will provide a more powerful page-building experience.

Even though the Classic Editor can be used, we do not recommend installing it. We recommend uninstalling the plugin if it is installed before uploading your Glamsy Design theme.

If you already have content using the Classic Editor before uploading your Glamsy Design theme, Kadence will recognize and convert it. After installing your theme, deactivate the Classic Editor, check your content, then remove the plugin.
