Recommended Theme Requirements

We’ve discussed Recommended Server Requirements, we now need to discuss our theme requirements. Our themes are specifically designed for self-hosted WordPress.org websites, they are not compatible with WordPress.com or other platforms like Squarespace, Showit, Wix, Thrive Themes, Elementor, Beaver Builder, etc.

We do not recommend installing other block plugins because it would be counterproductive. Block plugins are generally overloaded with a lot of code, which slows down your website. Kadence has all the features you’ll ever need without loading unnecessary extra plugins. Of course, you will need other plugins (check out our plugin recommendations and recommended Kadence plugins), we just don’t advocate block plugins.

To ensure that our theme functions properly, the free Kadence theme must be installed on your site. To get the most out of our themes, installing Kadence Pro would be beneficial, especially if you’ve bought a theme that has been designed with many pro pages such as our Delicious theme.
