Getting Started

Setting Up An Established Website

Estimated reading: 1 minute 76 views

To set up an established website using Kadence, the theme installation process is the same as it is for a brand-new site. We recommend importing the demo content on all sites—including existing ones—to get the full layout and design experience. When importing, make sure not to uncheck the “Import Content” option under Advanced Settings.

Rest assured, importing the demo content will not delete or overwrite your existing content. Once the demo is in place, you can simply delete any placeholder blog posts or pages you don’t need.

NOTE: Before installing the demo content, ensure you create a backup of your website or a staging site to work in.
