Preparing Your New Website

You’ll need to complete a few important steps before starting the theme installation process.

Ensure you update your website to the latest version of WordPress before installing your theme. Also, update any installed plugins. When updating the WordPress software, plugins, or themes, always make sure that your site has a backup in place. A good host provider will do this for you; contact them to double-check or use a plugin. Check out our resources for the best options.
If you currently use the Classic Editor plugin, please deactivate it before installing your theme. Kadence is built for the Block Editor and does not support the Classic Editor.
The demo import process will only install plugins that are essential for your Glamsy Design theme to function properly. However, there are also some optional plugins shown in the theme demo. If you want the demo content to be set up for these plugins, please install and activate them BEFORE installing your theme. Although we have detailed plugin recommendations for each theme, you can also head over to our resources for more great plugins and other essentials ideas.
