Launching your first WordPress website can feel seriously overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to. Other Preps To Consider

  • Ensure you update your website to the latest version of WordPress before installing your theme.
  • Update any installed plugins.
  • Even new websites have some content on it. If this is you, backup your website before installing a theme. We recommend WP Staging Pro or a good hosting provider that allows you to do manual backups without having to install a plugin such as ScalaHosting.
  • If you currently use the Classic Editor plugin, please deactivate it before installing your theme. Kadence is built for the Block Editor and does not support the Classic Editor.
  • The Kadence demo import process will only install plugins that are essential for your Glamsy Design theme to function properly. We suggest installing and activating the plugins BEFORE installing your theme.
